You can not state with any validity that of A, AA, AAA which is better than the other. The county or city educational governing body determines the class in which the school participates. Let's wait and see which team is the best in March. :x:x:x

Summertown won't get passed Wayne county!! :D Wayne County will be alwsome this year.. They may have one or two players that are good, but look who won last year in the distric..WAYNE COUNTY did. We didn't loose no one really and yall lost a some good players. So lets think about it..umm. Wayne County will be distric Champs! They did really good in camp to, which that don't mean a whole lot, but they beat ever team up there which one game they lost because the b-team started. So I think that Wayne County will be in M-boro this year and could bring home that "Gold Ball" again..Gold Ball

Let's see, Districe 5AAA has Bradley, Cleveland and McMinn all great girls traditions and all three with bright young players. Then you have McMinn Central who may be the best team in the state and Tellico with the Swanson girl and Walker Valley with Heidi Rominger back. I think this area of east Tennessee may be the best in East Tennessee. Maybe not in the whole state.

Time to wake this message board up. My opinion of the "Best Basketball in the State"......McMinn and Bradley County. Who else can match this....McMinn Central, McMinn County, Walker Valley, Cleveland, and Bradley all within 35 miles of each other?

amen brother. Sportsphan predicts McMinn girls and McMinn Central girls both in the state tournament this year. Central girls will win it if they don't get a bad draw again. Bradley may make it to substate again but not go anywhere else. This area is a great area for girls ball and for boys ball. District 5AAA will be as good as any in the state.

Not bad these are very good teams. But just look at where the state champions have been the last few years. Jackson Co. has won three in a row in AA and they play in the toughest AA district and region in the state. Jackson Co. Livingston, Baxter and York have always had good teams and then in A ball you have Clarkrange Celina and Friendship in the same region. And then look at the AAA Oakland Riverdale Cookeville and Sparta even though Sparta has not been as good for a few years they were one of the tops at one time all these schools are within a few minutes of each other and this is some of the best in the state.
