Bradley looking good, who gets the ball when game is on the line, Scott or Jackson ?; Cleveland, all that young talent, needs experience in coaching, play as a team, STOP the Holly Rogers show; McMinn County, transfer from Sweetwater raises them a notch; McMinn Central, run and gun and enjoy the fun;Walker Valley..you better watch ...this is a quiet storm, no superstars but play well as a team. Incoming freshman adds to a already good mix. Coach is alive and too funny, but kids enjoy playing for him....

In Bradley County we have open zoning so a player can go to either of the three schools that he or she wants to go to. In order to transfer, the player's family must move. Most of the transfers that you hear about are strictly rumors. Some are nothing more than threats and some are speculation only. Most times the transfers that do happen my be because of Playing time like you said, but sometimes it is something different than that. As for the incoming freshmen, they can practice and play with any or all of the three schools during the summer and make their decisions in August. There really are not as many cases of transferring as you made it sound like, although there are some that transfer at Christmas and that usually is because they will see more play at one school or the other. Bradley County as a whole is rich in tradition in sports. CHS and BCHS are known throughout the state for their basketball programs and WVHS is working toward that goal. But don't make it sound like the transferring is a daily occurance. Like I said, most times it is just rumor, speculation, or threats. The kids and their parents need to be happy wherever they go.

You can call Sevier County the Lady Bears but no one will know what in the world (or who) that you are talking about and you won't get a response. Best if you call them by their name----Bearettes or Lady Bearettes of Sevier County and boy, aren't we proud?????????? They proved to be the best team in the state last year by winning it all.
