The East should be good games. Webb at home is tough but HH has been playing inspired. Even though they beat us twice, I look for JPII to win. It may depend on how Ensworth responds to the news that Coach Pack is leaving after the season. Should be good games all weekend.

ECS beat ST. Benedict last night 50 - 40 in the semi-finals. ECS and Briarcrest will play for the championship on Saturday.

How did ECS beat St. Benedict, a young but tough opponent?

It was no surprise to me. St Benedict had a pretty weak schedule and their record may deceive as to how good they actually were. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

[/b I guess you can consider it an upset, however, ECS played St. Benedict close the first game and the second was within 10.

They have a lot of young talent. ECS just wanted it more.
fiftyfifty
JPII wins and Webb wins Well you finally done it. You have exceeded your crazy football predictions. At least you are on the right page with Knoxville Webb. I can't wait till fall, and read your football posts. I'm afraid its going to be Talley Ho for the Lady Knights, same as for the former principal err I mean HEADMASTER. One other thing, how come at a Catholic school playing another Catholic school, that the prayer is not started with the sign of the cross. JPII has a little idenity problem which the new principal should solve.

I am not down playing anything, just stating a fact. Their schedule was weak at best. As for ECS, I watched them earlier in the season, they must have had 35 turnovers in a loss to the Lady Irish of Father Ryan in which they scored a total of 28 points. Don't worry, the pain will be over soon for you barbeque eaters with the exception of Briarcrest who has a very good team.

It is very presumptuous of you to assume that 1) that I'm a barbeque eater and 2) that I'm from that area. Let the court play decide who will do well especially considering that ECS has apparently been flying under everyone's radar. They won when it counted the most.
