Memphis grizzlies fan #1
predictions on the two teams that will make it out of this district A lot depends on the seeding which is yet to be determined.
Whitey
Points as of today. Cookeville 4 - 0 - 2 = 14 points (finished with all district games) Blackman 3 - 0 - 2 = 11 points (plays Oakland) Riverdale 3 - 2 - 0 = 9 points (plays Siegel) Warren County 2 - 2 - 1 = 7 points (plays Lebanon) Lebanon 1 - 2 - 2 = 5 points (plays Warren County) Siegel 0 - 3 - 2 = 2 points (plays Riverdale) Oakland 0 - 4 - 1 = 1 point (plays Blackman) White County = automatically comes in last place Scenario, (provided Riverdale and Blackman both win their remaining games): Blackman and Cookeville will be tied on points at 14. That makes the Warren County and Lebanon game the most important game this week. A win by Lebanon gives the District Championship to Blackman but a win by Warren County gives the championship to Cookeville based on District 7 AAA by law tie breakers. When you go through the tie breaker list, the next thing on the list after head-to-head competition (Blackman and Cookeville tied), is how each team did against the highest seeded opponents. Riverdale should come in third and both Blackman and Cookeville beat Riverdale. If Lebanon wins, they come in forth and Warren County fifth. Cookeville tied Lebanon and Blackman beat Lebanon, therefore, Blackman would get the championship. If Warren County wins, they will come in forth and Lebanon will come in fifth. Blackman tied Warren County and Cookeville beat Warren County, therefore Cookeville would get the championship. It looks like Lebanon and Warren County have both gained some new fans this week from Cookeville and Blackman : ). Makes for a fun time with these standings hanging in the balance this week. Of course, if either Blackman or Riverdale loses their last game, then we go and remix everything. Everyone, good luck!

barcelona
Cleveland 1 - Cookeville 0 Cleveland possessed 60/40, scored on a long punt and subsequent Cookeville defensive miscue. First half belonged to Cleveland, second half featured more opportunities for Cookeville.
Memphis grizzlies fan #1
Congrats to both Blackman and Cookeville. These two teams lost more from last year than any two teams in the district, yet they still managed to finish at the top. Should make for an interesting district tournament.
