Big win for Cookeville last night - congratulations! Riverdale's future is still in their hands if they manage to win out. The game between Warren County and Lebanon is big next Tuesday because it will decide which one of those teams finish ahead of the other. They will probably face each other in the first round of the district and the game Tuesday will probably decide who gets the home field for that game.

 

A side note: Sympathy to the family of Tyler and the entire Blackman family. I remember him as a good competitor.

If two teams or more have the same amount of points (3 points win and 1 point tie) at

the end of the regular season, then the tie breakers shall be:

 

1. Head-to-head

2. Highest seeded common opponent down to lowest

3. Goal differential not to exceed 3 per game

4. Coin toss

Riverdale is actually 3-1-0 with wins over Lebanon, Warren County, and Oakland so they should be listed as second in your standings with 9 points. They have two games left against Blackman and Siegel, not three games.

OK - thanks for the update. They need to update their schedule so that it reflects that. The schedule shows the Lebanon game with no score as if it was never played and had to be made up.

Great win last night by Cookeville. Came out ready to play and scored a goal in the first 11 seconds. Then scored a second five minutes later. This sets up for a huge riverdale-blackman showdown. I should be there and I can't wait.
