soccerfreak98765
Last year they lost a close game 2-0 to Portland in the region semifinals and lost to Station Camp earlier in the season in another close game. Station Camp finished top of the region and portland was runner up. They had a strong team but had problems penetrating opponent's defenses. how many starters are they returning from last years team. soccer7
They are returning 10 seniors, as well as some juniors that have really stepped it up. In the preseason, they have proved to have an explosive offense, scoring 22 goals, a dominant defense, and a quick midfield, so they should be a threat in the region again this year, as always. soccer7
Yeah the Bison Cup should be a real challenge and certainly a very exciting tournament. Several good teams will be there. It will be interesting to see who shows up big and pulls out some wins.
soccerfreak98765
Station Camp looks to be at the top of district 8a-aa at the end of preseason. So if LA is excelling at the rate you guys are saying they are then this should be a great show down. What are the dates of the Bison Cup? NedNatterjack
Well, it looks like 5 of those goals came in a game against Lenoir City's JV team. So I believe these numbers may be skewed a little bit. But can you really put much of an emphasis on goals scored during scrimmages.
