I heard that Riverdale made some very costly mistakes last night and that Katy pitched a very good game. Said that Cat wasnt as sharp as she normally is and Father Ryan came out with an attitude. Still believe that you will see the "Big Man's" team in the finals! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I saw in the paper they had 3 but I also heard from a friend who was there it should have been 4. The paper said they had 3 errors but heard one of the errors was really a hit. Sometimes people would rather say a error instead of saying that got a hit. But the bottom line is the score and Riverdale will win a lot more this year. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Cat must be suffering jet lag from her trips to California. LOL

I am having a lot of weird feelings this morning and I just believe that Riverdale isnt going to throw in the towel just yet! I know that some people may think this is the believing of the fall of Riverdale but I really think they will continue to play out the season and take their chances with the best pitcher in the state. Now remember it is just a feeling! I have been wrong just not as many times as some people on here are! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I heard Katie Ayers hit two home runs during the game against Riverdale. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

 

Ryan came out with loads of "moxy" and scored a lot in the first inning against another pitcher- a homerun and several errors. Cat was brought in with runners on first and second and no outs. She K'd 10 of the next 12 batters allowing one walk ( in the last inning) and allowing one kid to dribble the ball back to her before throwing her out at first. Cat did record the loss as she hit a solo shot HR off of Katy over the right field fence to tie up the game. The next inning , a very determined Katy, with two outs, hit the ball over the fence on Cat to win the game. I have always said there is no better hitter than a " mad and determined pitcher". Congrats to father Ryan. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

GREAT!!!! Congrats to Katy for a 2 homerun game and Cat for a 1 homerun game!!!!!!! I don't care if Jenny Finch was pitching, nice job hitting ladies!!!

I saw in today's paper that Katy Ayers had a HR against Columbia last night too. I *think* that gives her 5 on the season already..................pretty good week for anybody at any level! Her walk-off HR against Cat was several feet to the right of dead center on a curveball. Good hitting when you "go backside" with such power.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!

      Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
