Be glad you didn't see this one tonight cause it was U G L Y!!! Worst ball I've seen DC play to date! Errors all over. We handed it to them. I though we had some spunk back in us in the bottom of the 5th. We came back enough to narrow the score 11-12. They brought in the catcher to pitch and I don't know what it was he was pitching but the two men chatting behind me kept calling it "NASTY"!

 

Yeah.......... I heard ! Likely throwin some "nasty ######" (curve ball) at 'em ! I didn't get the details down that close..... But thanks ! Keep me in the loop !

I believe the catcher/pitcher that you are referring to is Tyree Jefferies. He is an excellent pitcher as well as hitter. He held a potent Dyersburg lineup to 3 runs but lost to them 3-2.

Looks like the first big test of this district comes this monday and tuesday. Dyersburg vs. Dyer County. Best of look to both teams(not trying to overlook the remaining games this week but these two games are highly anticipated)
