Orange Lutheran has Gerrit Cole that recently hit 99mph on the stalker gun. The problem with him being drafted is that Scott Borris is his agent/advisor and most of the teams are walking away from any Scott Borris clients. This is probably the top high school tournament in the nation. With the competition in this tournament being so strong I fully expect CBHS to have a minium of one loss when the tournament is finished.

I think coming back from a tournament like this with one loss would be amazing. There is some very good teams out there. Calvert from Maryland is currently the #1 team in the nation, James River #6. Others you can find sprinkled throughout other polls. CBHS has there work cut out for them.

CBHS dropped the first game 7-4. From what I understand they played a good team but CBHS did not play that well overall. Handed too many runs over due to walks and a couple of errors. On a brighter note CBHS is going to be in the audience tonight on Jay Leno and he is supposedly going to recognize that they are there.

New Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Poll...CBHS and Bartlett still in the top 30. The tournament CBHS is at right now has Orange Lutheran ( #4), Calvert Hall ( #7 previously #1), Jupiter ( #13), and James River ( #14). Experanza and Crespi are also there which very often have nationally ranked teams. What a cupcake schedule CBHS has put together, huh.

CBHS won today in decisive fashion beating a solid team out of cottonwood utah. the colts of cottonwood have won back to back to back state championships in utah. final score cbhs - 19 cottonwood - 10. the brothers will face the winner of calvert hall and whoever they play today. stephen thompson will be on the hill for the brothers.
