It should be some great soccer! Frankly I think Brentwood, Houston, and Hendersonville are down a little as well but Gallatin has not looked good when they have played the better competetion. I haven't seen Collierville or Father Ryan this year so I'm not sure about their teams but they have been historically strong and seem to be doing pretty well this season.

Believe me, Brentwood is far from down, they return almost everyone from their semifinal team last year with multiple D1 commits. The game vs Father Ryan should be very interesting.

Correctly me if Im wrong. But Brentwood is undefeated. Houston has 1 lose to CBHS. And Hendersonville has 1loss to Bearden. I don't see how those three teams are "down" don't know if you meant that in a bad way or not, I'm just not on the same page

I agree that H'ville, Brentwood, and Father Ryan are still probably the cream of the crop for Middle Tennessee. This tournament should tell us a lot about how Middle stacks up to the West part of the state.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
