The TN Stars won their first game today. Bryant 8, Jennings 5, Wright 9, Hill 1, Haley 14, & McFadden 19. Shauna Haley came to play, great play from Wright, Bryant, Mcfadden and Jennings, Hill had strong defense off the bench. Great game girls, next game 7:00 tonight.

TN Stars won last night to advance out of pool play. They lost today in the last game of the pool to a very good Calf. team. Next game Sunday morning at 8:30. Go Stars.

The TN AAU teams that have advanced out of pool play today Memphis Lady Blackhawks,Tennessee Stars,Tennsssee Lady Tigers. The Shelbyville Sport Shop will be going to the AAU Shoot Out they did not make it out. The Lady Stingers fate will be decided this afternoon they have to win to advance.

Good Luck to all the teams that made it out of pool play at the 13s Nationals. Also, Good Luck to the Shelbyville Sportshop in the Shootout tournament.

The Stars and the Tigers are both done lossing today. The Blackhawks are still alive and playing well. The Stars had a great year with a thin team the girls learned a lot and had fun, thanks girls for a fun year.

just a great word of thanks to a great group of ladies that exceeded expectations and fought to the end getting into the championship bracket of the national tournament when all the nay sayers thought you couldn't get out of Harriman...we learned a lot and accomplished a lot...you all learned what it meant to be a "tennessee star"...we didn't get as far as we wanted, but the foundation is set for years to come...thanks to coach p and coach mac for all they do...Monday we start again preparing for 2003...so gear up and work hard...be ready to "GO FOR IT"...thanks to all the supportive parents we had all year long in 12's and 13's....we know that the girls are the program and the girls are more important THAN THE PROGRAM...tennessee stars 2003 will be working and building in the 13 & 14's...be one of the few and part of the best...love ya all, Coach C

A very big thanks to Coach Carson and Coach Parker for the great job you did with the young ladies this year. I know that each high shool coach will be very excited about the skills and the desire that you taught our group of girls. The future looks bright and we are looking foward to next year.
