Regional Standings are now updated. Cascade will be the one seed for playoffs. McEwen/Jo Byrns winner will lock up 2nd place and have a 1st round playoff game at home. Loser will 3rd and have to travel to either Mt. Pleasant or Wayne County, depending on the outcome of the Wayne County/Collinwood game next week. The winner of the Forrest/M.T.C.S. will take the 4th spot in the region and likely travel to Wayne County or Mt. Pleasant depending on the result of the above mentioned game. Clarksville Academy moved up to 6th position with their victory last night. Click on the link to see current standings:

First Chance To Plug Up My Laptop. Congrats To The Champs. Butt Was Puckered All Night. I Think Everyone In Adams Lastnight Was A Tad Tight In The Sphinxter Region. It Was A Thriller To The End. And What A Finish. And Poetic Justice One Might Say. How Much Better Could Anything Between Two 8 And 0 Teams Be?

hey c11,

Can you give me a more detailed breakdown of R6.... I'm sure it will be WC, then MTP, but what about the other two spots... i'm thinking CW, then MC... is this the probable outcome overthere...

Here is how I see it playing out, Baller.......

Wayne County should beat Collinwood I'm assuming, but when those two match up who knows. If Collinwood pulls it off, they would make the playoffs as the 2nd seed and knock CA out. Here is the likely scenerio I feel will happen though.

1. Wayne County plays winner of Forrest/M.T.C.S.

2. Mt. Pleasant plays loser between Jo Byrns/McEwen

3. Moore County travels to the winner of the Jo Byrns/McEwen game

4. Columbia Academy if they can beat Zion would take the 4th spot and travel to Cascade.

Should CW win, they move to second place and bump WC down to third and Moore County would fall to 4th.

Your scenerio sounds about right to me...

What happens if CW loses and Zion beats CA...

Would it be:

WC

MTP

MC

CW

or...

WC

MTP

MC

ZC

or...

WC

MTP

MC

CA

I would think with all of these big numbers Zion's kid is throwing up... they could get lucky and beat a better CA team...

It would be:

WC

MTP

MC

CW

Another CA loss would put them at 4 region losses and CW would only have 3. Another thing that could happen to throw everything out of wack over there would be Moore County losing to Perry County. That would give them 3 losses also and knock them out of the playoffs due to losing both non-region contests to Cascade and Eagleville. That region is really tough to figure out at this point. Moore County's victory over Wayne County has to be the biggest head scratcher of the season. They are coming off of back to back 2 point victories over bottom feeders, Zion and Cornerville... /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Think the WC/MC game was early on in the season, also I believe the field was wet that night... no excuses but these are items to point out... Should be an interesting 4 rounds in the west side of the bracket... Seems like McEwen, Cascade, JBS, Wayne Co, MT P, Mckinzie, UC, LC, Manassas, TCA, Fayette Acad... all are with in a touchdown difference between them... This year's playoff will be exciting... there won't be a Mckinzie, Jo Byrns, or Mt P... like there were in the west last year... But as bad as I hate to say it... The best 3-4 teams in 1A are all from the east and SP will probably win it again...

    • My esteemed interlocutor, regrettably, I find myself bereft of your contact information. Moreover, it behooves me to clarify that I do not currently occupy the esteemed position of coach. Were I to hold such a position, rest assured, trepidation towards yourself and your team would find no foothold within my disposition. Permit me to opine that Gallatin's achievements appear, in my estimation, notably devoid of commendable accolades, save for the distinguished presence of Volunteer State, where my progeny, with admirable distinction, attained scholastic honors. Securing the contact information of the newly appointed head coach upon their assumption of duties should pose no undue challenge for me.
    • Alas, your inquiry persists without resolution. Within the intricate tapestry of criteria delineated, the identification of a singular candidate who effortlessly encapsulates the synthesis of essential attributes proves to be a formidable task. It must be noted that the mere apprenticeship under a revered mentor does not inevitably confer suitability for the esteemed role within the Trousdale County coaching hierarchy. Indeed, compatibility transcends mere proximity, necessitating a profound alignment of values, principles, and competencies to ensure a harmonious union with the esteemed responsibilities inherent to this distinguished position.
    • Well, its that time of year again.  I really enjoy the summer camps.  This year, we will be hosting a play date on the 4th which will include Hampton, Unaka, and johnson county.  I think hampton is hosting one on the 5th.  5 freshmen will join the lady landers this year.  We will have 2 seniors, 8 juniors, and 3 sophomores.  Gonna be a new look for us this year.  This group is pretty dang good.  Unaka will be the new favorite in R1a.  They got a really good transfer who has an NIL deal.  And NG has most of their starters back.
    • Gotta take care of business in the village of Eagles first! But you will pass though the Boro on the way.
