Congratulations to every team that has made it to their respective district championship game. At this point it is all about seeding and not elimination. That being said however, alot of these games are with each other's biggest rival and that adds to the excitement. But all advance. Please add scores and details for your game.....and hopefully the weatherman will be wrong on the rain.

 

D2 East District:

this is what we have worked for all year....to get to this point. looking at all of the district championship games I'll bet these would have been the teams picked in the preseason to be in their championship. like nike07 said no eliminations just for seeding. but everyone wants to win. go irish!

tied 1-1 at end of regulation, and went into double overtime where Daniel Tackling had a nice finish on a solo run.

 

then it went to heck in a hen basket. im sure you will hear about it. but i have an AP Exam tomorrow so im off to bed

CCS down 2-0, beats ND in OT

Baylor scores two goals in last 10 minutes to beat McCallie

District 5AAA Championship was a typical McMinn/Cleveland post season match. Both teams played extremely hard, both missed golden chances, and it could not be decided in regulation (3rd year in a row). It was another GREAT HS soccer match. Hats off to both teams.

Baylor 2 McCallie 0....another great win....and at McCallie again. Means we host substate instead of traveling to Memphis.....way to go Red Raiders! 2 Goals in 14 games!!

mccallie is thankful for their football program baylor owns them in most of the other sports.

Well done, Bucs! I think its a great tribute to how hard you have worked this season. But its also a tribute to both Coach Owens and Coach Walker. He'd be real proud.
