There's some pretty exciting news going on right now. In the AAU 17 and under and 18 and under World Championships the kids from Tennessee are kicking butt!

 

17 and Under in Orlando, Florida

All Tennessee final (for the championship)

Dulins Dodgers (Memphis) versus Knoxville Thunder

It is an all-Tennessee final in the 18s also as the Shoetiques won today.

Dulin's Dodgers 17's defeats the Knoxville Thunder 4-3 in Orlando to claim the AAU 17u National Championship. Tomorrow in the 18u National Championship, Dulin's Dodgers 18's square off with the Shoetiques in Ft. Myers. All Tennessee in both Championship games! Says a lot about baseball in Tennessee.

It would be funny if we both didn't know that the Vol's don't look for in state players to fill their roster. It's time that everyone in the baseball community began to call, write, e-mail, and stop sending money to the University of Tennessee until this problem is solved. I can't beleive the product that they put on the field with my tax dollars!!!!!!!!

I played for the 17 thunder team that fell to the dodgers in the final game and a couple of things. Umm who is the shortstop(high, year in school) b/c that kid looks like he can play some ball just real smoothe all around. The lefty who closed out the games the same thing(how hard he throws, school, year, and anybody looking at him) Another thing is it seemed meant to be for the dodgers coming from behind and winning at least 3 games just that i saw i in there final at bat. but it was a good tournament and congrats.
