what i want to know is how you have guys who play in tennessee and have signed with colleges like knoxville and duke yet players like mj who are just in a struggle to walk on at knoxville or another d1 school can win mr. basketball?? seems kind of odd does it not?

MJ was Mr Basketball in singe A two times, which is not the same as AA and AAA, plus MJ is a very good Mid Major talent as evidenced by the offers. It's as simple as MJ is not a high Major talent. Maybe he will piove everybody wrong, it does happen but it will be an exception rather than the norm. Not one singe high major program offered MJ a scholarship but several mid majors did. MJ was a two time Mr basketball, played AAU, and had losts of State tournement experience, and made annual trips to the Poplar Bluff showcase. He had plenty of exposure and the High Major coaches and recruiters just didn't want to offer when there were and will continue to be more talented players. Thats not a knock against MJ, it's just how it is. I hope he goes to Western Kentucky and makes a name for himself becuse it's going to be tough to do it as a walk on at UT. Only time will tell.

Good list. If Greer were to go to Ole Miss that would be two from West Carroll (not saying that is going to happen but it's possible). I think Xavier (Webb) Hasbro followed Fprmer Ole Miss Coach Rod Barnes to Georgia St. I personally hope MJ goes to Western Kentucky because I think he could do really well there, Plus Western Kentucky is a very very good program.
