Yup game is today at 2:30. I will bug BigG while I am at the game with updates for anyone interested.

According to TSSAA they got special permission to play today or something. No idea.

That's frustrating. They have 7 of the 8 teams already. Why can't they do like previous years and put "winner of game 1 vs. winner of game 2" into the spots?

My understanding was that one had graduation on Sat. afternoon and the other had it on Sat. night, so that is why they are playing on Sunday. My source works for Times Free Press--very reliable.

I guess because if Merrol Hyde wins they have to go to the opposite bracket from Station Camp.

Boyd wins 3-2.

Boyd dominated first half, and fell asleep in the 2nd half. Just looked like they were trying hold off MH. MH scored 2 quick goals at the beginning of the 2nd half. One off a corner, and one of a miscleared ball by Boyd. Don't think Boyd was use to being up 3 goals with so many close games in the region tourney and district. Congrats to Boyd. Going back to state. First time since 1998. Will have to play like they did in the first half today for the rest of the tourney to advance on.
