What happened to USJ?

All anybody could talk about in the AA tournament was how unfair it was that Goodpasture and USJ were in the same bracket. USJ did not even make it to their bracket finals. What happened?

They just got beat. I think it was like a boxer getting tagged hard in the first round, and never quite regained his balance. USJ didn't appear to play like the normally do, at all. Too many runners left on base. I guess that's why we play a tourny versus just handing out awards. They are still one heck of a baseball team that is incredibly young. Expect them to be back in the hunt for the next several years. Don't get me wrong, GP and Marion are the finest caliber teams and deserve the wins they get.

 

As far as the brackets, there are better ways of determining the seeds than drawing out of a hat. But there's another thread on that.

I do agree that is terrible that all three teams (USJ, Goodpasture, and Marion Co.) are in the same bracket. But to answer your question, They were just beat by two better teams on those two particular days.
