If I remember correctly Sequatchie County was told to enjoy a long ride back after the loss, actually it took us about an hour and it seemed faster since we just did WIN of course!!!!

Tell us about the game. We know the final score. How'd it shake out?

If you weren't there I will give you a quick scoop. Sequatchie's defense stood strong tonight. Cannon scored 1st TD on fumble return had momentum until CC coach tried an onside kick???? Then went for 4th and 6 on his on 45- 50 somewhere around that. in the end our little kicker "LUPE" kicked a FG with .7 seconds to win and we recovered onside kick to end it. Sloppy game with fumbles, but Seq. overcame turnovers to pull it out.

That was the type of win that can help turn the program around, not by itself but it can sure add to the process. Sequatchie made their share of mistakes too, the totally unforced fumble mentioned when Cannon ran it back for a score, also a fumble on first down at the Cannon 10 or so to start the fourth quarter and a drop of what probably would have been a 50 yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. They overcome those mistakes and played well enough to get the score at the end. The big play right before the field goal was a punt return of around 40 yards with a minute or two left. That took the ball to about the 20 and a couple of runs got it near the 10 before the game winning kick. Total team effort, a ton of players made plays on offense, defense or both.

What a great game! Sequatchie is up 13-0 at the half Cannon comes back to tie it up and Sequatchie kicker Martinez kicks a 32 yarder with 4.7 seconds for the win!! Its probably the first game winning field goal in Sequatchie Co. history as we have never been known for our kickers. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":unsure:" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

SC should be proud of the win, it was a great game. either team could have won. congrats to SC... Wish SC success and we will never have to talk about barger coming to CC again. made for an interesting week.

 

After all of your nonsense this week, that's all you can say. I think, you really don't care who Sequatchie plays, you just don't like Seq, or Coach Barger.
