LaVergne - 2nd road game for young team

I think starting with a road game as huge underdog and nearly pulling off a shocking upset could pay off this week at Hillwood who won't have the kind of crowd Blackman had.

 

Not a knock on Hillwood - they did have that great run late in 4-a...a 12 game win streak if I recall, they've just had a tough time in 5-a.

from what I remember, Hillwood was not very organized but had speed and size (last year). Not sure what the story was with the exchange of qb's friday night.....BUT....If Hester can find someone who can throw the ball within the first 3 seconds after the snap and hit some receivers on short rout's it should help take some pressure off the O-line. A few minor adjustments and LaVergne has a good chance of putting many points on the board. He definatly has the knowledge and the Offense....he just needs a conductor to orchestrate. This reminds me a little of a game around 3 years ago LHS at Glencliff a week after LHS played Smyrna to a 22-20 ending in week zero.

It would be great if our new transfer Marcus Booker would be ruled eligible. He could be a big time player. I dont think he will be eligible this week but maybe next.

well if LaVergne has equal talent as Hillwood than Hester becomes the x factor....so things look good for LaVergne
