which game was a exciting finish for ac fulton? didnt fulton put up 44 on them last year? anyways i think fulton is young, and a lil down this year, but u cant never count them out, ac should win this 1 this year, but when playoffs roll around i wouldnt wanna play fulton.

The best time to play Fulton is early in the season. Buck's teams always improve as the season progresses. AC will have to be able to run the ball and use play action. If they can't run the ball, Fulton's speed becomes a factor. Hard to keep those speed rushers off the edge from hitting your QB or rushing his throws. Need to keep Fulton's offense of the field as much as possible. Fulton may be young but they will have some talent and they have experienced coaches. AC has some firepower, has the ability to put some points up. Kicking games has played a big part in wins Fulton has had over AC in the past. AC will need to play solid there. If AC has the same intensity they had against a good Clinton team, I like their chances. Go Mavs!

Let's see...2001 Maverick Miracle( playoffs, 2001, AC behind 23 points with 2 minutes left in the game. AC comes back, ties it up. Wins in OT) comes to mind. Ask Justin Price, AC's Offensive Coordinator. If we're gonna beat Fulton, you're right, we'll need to do it early on in the season. But know this, Fulton can be beat. Should be a great game. Good Luck and see you guys Friday night! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

And just to let you know that in the playoffs in '01 AC was not down by 23 with 2 mins left it was more like 6

It's good to see ole Oppressed is already in mid-season form /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

He's already trashing the Irish and reliving games from the past when these current players were in elementary school. Don't confuse him with the facts, he's on a roll.

I don't mind one bit being corrected, Sir (or Ma'am?), However, I was there. It was two minutes. (I can check the video tape to make sure, if you like). Anderson Co. scored three, count them: one, two, three touchdowns, in two minutes. Tied the ballgame up. Went into overtime and won the game. It was an awesome game! Fulton and AC players left it all on the field that night. I have watched football since 1981 (NFL, college, high school, middle school, and little league) and I have yet to see a football game such as that. Neither team had anything to hang their heads about that night. I dare say that in my lifetime I may never see another game such as that. KUDO'S to both teams and coaches. I can only hope that Friday night MIGHT rival that game in 2001! Good Luck to both teams and I hope both their seasons are injury free.

You are correct about playing Falcons early ... and this year it means even more as 13 of the 22 starting positions are manned by Sophomores .. yes Sophs ... so this is the year to get Fulton if you are gonna get them ... AC should try to run ball against that young defense .. they should have some success and then they will run the play action ... Falcons will definately have to play better than last week at OR ... AC will come looking for revenge and the young pups from Fulton will have to weather it and keep their heads and try to make some plays ... Falcons will have to run the ball to win this game .. if they dont run it well there is a good chance that AC come's out with a win .. I hope not but AC has the experienced team and from what I heard dominated OR in jamboree ...
