Did I hear right.......Siegel won it on a last second field goal? Did the rain affect things last night any?

good job to botch teams. wilson central needs to get off cruise in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. an no siegle didnt win by a late field goal. they were up by 10 and wilson central scored with a minute and a few seconds left. after that central recoverd an onside kick an couldnt capatalize on it. lets go cats in two weeks its oakland.

Actually siegel scored a field goal to get it to 21-17, then scored on a pass to Gooch (24-21) and then Haynes added another 50 yd TD (after WC went three and out and burned their timeouts) to go up 31-21... WC came right back and scored with about a minute left.... then recovered an on-sides kick... had one completion then three incompletions to finish the game. This had to be one of the most exciting games in the state last night.

 

Hopefully the sensible folks in Wilson County will figure out their financials so that the Wilson kids can keep playing.
