I heard a rumor that I hope is not true. That the officials were not going to report the ejection and so leave him eligible to play this week. I saw the hit and there is no way he should be eligible to play.

it is true cause i was right there on the field next to the ref and shoot..

the ref said coach he is down just sit him down..this is not going to be classified as a fight so he wont have to sit out and until now i didnt even know that hitting the holder was part of the kicker in lesser words and cant be hit just like the kicker...

but its good to have people on here posting and from a rival school who beat us by 55 and not trash talk or anything and showing what looks to be a little respect for the tigers..watched some film and nd line looks to be the weak spot but thats only one film on them and howard...7 for ND is there is their go to guy when passing everyone else looked ok we have a chance if our dfense comes out and plays like they did the 2nd half at central and our OFense can put a few TDs on the board early and just wear them out...

What is it going to take to get some new assistant coaches here at Meigs? Will it take just one year of losing? Maybe it will take two or three years before we wake up.

Clint Baker is a name to consider. We need to be looking at Defensive coordinators, O Line coaches, Receivers Coaches,,,, How bad does it have to get?

It's not because we don't have the athletes. Most of our athletes are walking the halls at school because of the current coaching staff.

Don't try to tell me it's because there's no teaching vacancy, We had former Head Coaches offer to volunteer their time, and they were turned away.

Don't think you want to travel down that road Trainer. If a kid that SHOULD be playing football but is not playing football don't blame it on the coaches. The truth is their is NOT that many athletes walking the halls at Meigs. The ones that are just do not have the commitment or "want to" to put in the work to be a member of the football team. As far as former head coaches volunteering their time to coach I say BULL. They are FORMER coaches for a reason. Either their ship has sailed or their relatives are no longer a member of our program. We have enough problems right now without any of you jumping on our coaches so lighten up and play the hand you have been dealt.

Can't say that I blame them. I guess the future of Meigs County's sports program will be determined by the girls softball team. That's where all the money is going.

bad news guys shoot is out this game...someone from central or notre dame we believe took it to the TSSAA and he is suspended for this game even though the referee didnt technically "kick him out"

meigs is going to have to step it up

Did not come from Central for sure if it was reported outside of the officials report. I am pretty sure the association supervisor was at the game too and could have filed a report, but again it didn't come from Central.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
