DCfan74
Anyone can beat anyone on any given night. That is why you play the games. I remember a Dyersburg team getting beat in a playoff game a few years ago to a team that was 2-10, so lets not be to confident here. You need to stay focused and play hard every game. I give the Dyersburg Trogans the big nod on this one, but don't get to confident, or you might get upset.

They realized that they are a very young team and that they have to go out there every Friday night and play it one game at a time. Each game is a stepping stone to greater things. They work, they build and they never back down. They just keep asking for more. If a football season could be won on dedication, we would already have a gold ball. Good Luck tonight boys. Just take it 10 yards at a time. ONE TEAM!!! ONE BROTHERHOOD!!! TOGETHER WE ATTACK!!! GO TROJANS!!!

USC & Oregon State BEAVERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A two loss team (losses to Pen State? (I think) & Stanford) takes the # 1 Ranked USC Trojans (for what polls are worth) "to the wood shed" ! I LOVE IT !!!! (Could be because I hate USC & Pete Carrol Ain't my favorite NCAA coach either. Seems to think he is a bit "above the rest" ! I LOVE IT ! Pac 10....... Big 10.................... just can't hang with the parity of the SEC !
1brutalchoctaw
Do I detect a note of sarcasm or am I just being protective? no sarcasm. i just dont see how playing a bunch of pushover schools for all your nonregion games helps you any. weve played some pretty tough teams and its made us better. Like some others said, you can't overlook anyone. And by the way, I don't think Jackson Northside and Bolivar are pushovers.
StevieRayVol
Like some others said, you can't overlook anyone. And by the way, I don't think Jackson Northside and Bolivar are pushovers. Northside has one ONE GAME while...Bolivar IF THEY HAD A COACH would be State Championship material...TALENT GALORE...That Pirtle kid is one of the best backs I"ve seen and they list him at 6'1 and 215 and I think they are shorting him about 20lbs...The kid is a BEAST... The problem with scheduling these Memphis inner-city school is ...They will bring about 5 fans..be UNDISCIPLINED as heck....The coach will act crazy as all get out...Then these kids start getting hammered then they start CHEAP SHOTTING....( Frayser vs DC...Ask Choctawqb73)..... Going to watch "My Trojans" tonight...

StevieRayVol
Went to watch "MY TROJANS" tonight and left at Halftime...Those Memphis inner-city schools with the exception of Mitchell and Melrose offer NO COMPETITION....Don't know if Westwood had a bunch of kids QUIT or what the deal was...But I sat on the Westwood side with a former Trojan with whom I graduated with....We have been friends since 6th grade...and even he said..."STEVIERAY"....they look like a Junior high team...And the PUNTER...I have never seen a punter KICK THE BALL BACKWARDS over his head...Not once...BUT TWICE...Pitiful... Those Memphis teams for some reason REFUSE/DON"T KNOW how to work on the kicking game....Westwood was ONCE a power ( Think of the days of KENTON EVANS and the 4 wides)...I know that is what you schedule for homecoming...But I left at halftime...It was NO-CONTEST....as for "DC"...I would have LOST THE FARM on this one....CHESTER COUNTY?.....DC manhandled Chester County last year something like 49-0......and when they announced the score 19-7 Chester County at halftime...I was STUNNED...so..Don't know what it is but DC seems to be GETTING OUT OF THE GATE slow and having to come from behind...Got Haywood next week while Dyersburg takes on a surprising Ripley team that was BEATING Bolivar the last I heard...That was the second shocker I heard...
