like i done said u guys live in the past. get over last year guys. it was a fluke that u guys even competed with cc. there was so much goin on around school that day its not even funny. channel 4 news was at school at 3 in the mornin and all the boys were there even tho they were forbidden to be, then with channel 5 landin the helicopter in the softball field next to the game. how many times has that happened at marion? or do they not have tv there yet, to know what the news is?? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

 

 

Yeah.... I can remember when there were news helicopters landing at Marion Co..... back in the mid 80's when we were starting to build our program... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> After 4 state championships, 2 state runners-up, 26 years making the playoffs, and a 41-22 playoff record... having a winning season is no reason to get overly excited like CC did! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Reckon you folks would bring that many to Westmoreland if you have to come here in a few weeks? Gas is awfully expensive these days. Reckon you folks would bring that many to Westmoreland if you have to come here in a few weeks? Gas is awfully expensive these days. That is a long drive to have such a big chance of getting your tails whipped.

 

 

I may be mistaken, but didn't marion go up to Westmoreland a couple years ago as a big underdog and come out with a win???

I'm really proud of the way these boys have been playing. I can't go to the games, so all I see is the stats, and when you put up 20+ points in all but one game, that's some serious offense. That's definitely been what Marion has been missing the past few years. And moving down to A next year (or i think that's how it's looking), should be a bright future. Good job Warriors, way to light up the scoreboard.

I don't think they were underdogs. You guys were 3rd we were 2nd, you guys beat sequatchie that year. We barely beat them, how is that considering you guys underdogs? Maybe on the boards you were underdogs. The team didn't think of you as underdogs, I should know i was a Junior that year. But you also know what happened in the 06 season? yeah I do. Anyone else know?

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

      This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.

      From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
