List of former Brentwood Academy football players playing in D1 football this year:

Benji Walker(Vanderbilt '99)- should start this year and

dominate.

Scott Wells(Tennessee'99)- Started last year at center and

will this year as well. He's HUGE.

Josh Willoughby(MTSU '00)- will have a chance to start at

OL for Blue Raiders this year.

Jerry Vanderpool(MTSU '00)- will start for Middle and dominate.

Ian Bass(Ole Miss '99)- should get good playing time and

possibly start for the Rebels.

Jake Slaughter(Auburn'01)- second string to start the

season; will play special teams

Taylor Bouergious(Auburn '01)- second string to start

season.

Sosh Janders('02) and Adam Martin('02) are both playing at powerhouse Evangel University this coming fall. Look for both of them to get looks from NFL scouts. :x

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
