I was saddened by the news about AJ Krow breaking his hand at this point of the season. AJ has been outstanding athlete and a tremendous leader for the Bruins. It is always sad to hear top athletes like AJ, who enjoys playing football so much in Brentwood since the Blaze program, to go down to season ending injury at the height of a season.

I hate to hear about Krow being hurt with the team doing so well and it being so late in the season. It is going to be a cold, rainy night. Does the weather being "icky" give an advantage to one team over the other?

sorry to hear that for the kid and for the football program to lose such a leader like that - this will really put bruins to the test tonight think Krow put ball up only 45 times this year, but ran offense and kep error free ball- i guess only thing good out of this will be for BHS to take these 2 games to get replacement up to speed before playoffs

Not to take anything away from the rest of that Brentwood team, but Krow is the one that beat Franklin. He played a great game and the Rebels couldn't stop him. I'm sure this is info they didn't want leaked out, but anyways, how long is he out for?

Well, not to take anything away from AJ, but he doesn't play on defense. Brentwood seemed to hold their own tonight, also. Get well #4.

Held their own- and then some. Bruins dismantled Indy on TV 42-14.

Indy's first possession; one first down, then punt. Brentwood's first possession: one play, TD.

Indy's second possession; one play, interception. Brentwood's second possession: 5 plays, TD

That pretty much set the tone for the entire night.

Bruins pounded the smaller Indy team unceasingly the first half. Lone Eagle TD in the first half was the result of a re-punt after a procedure penalty that gave them the ball at their own 45.

Second half, Eagles recover their own on-side kick, but are pushed back and forced to punt. Bruins score, and on the ensuing kick-off, the Bruins offer Indy some of their own medicine: Bruins recover an onside kick-of their own.

One pass play, Bruins TD: and the game was essentially over.

Bruins offense shut it down midway through the 3rd Q and starting subbing liberally. Bruins add another TD with a pick 6 from Coffey. Indy gets the last points on the ensuing KO return for a touchdown.

Wilson played for the injured Krow and ran the offense very capably. While he doesn't run as well as AJ, he offers a more solid passing threat. His TD pass to Evans was a perfect throw over the Eagle DB, catching the receiver in stride.

Bruins look very efficient (sans the penalties) in taking care of business. Shut down what little threat Indy offered in the run game, put a lot of hits on the Eagle QB's and kept the Eagle passing game in front of them. Offensively they controlled the line and the clock.

One more challenge left before the Region Championship is awarded.

Good job by the boys from Murray Lane and a cold and damp October night.

just a correction. Krows replacement was Clay Webber, Not Wilson whoever that might be. That will be all

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
    • The gustatory amalgamation of succulent pork chops juxtaposed with verdant greens indeed evokes a sensory delight. Clint's narrative, imbued with the ethos of resilience, navigated the tumultuous waters of the 1980s with commendable fortitude. As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
