2A PLAYOFF SCHEDULE FOR LEWIS CO.

The Z-plan throws all the pre determined matchups out the window........kinda. We don't even know who the wild card teams are necessarily and seeding won't be determined until after tonight's games. This year's seeding will be more like years past with 1st place teams playing wildcards or at most a 3rd place team from another region. For the most part the quadrants will have 2 regions represented, maybe 3 so the region 5 vs region 6 matchups could be correct. Wildcards can throw that off though.

I'm glad the TSSAA 'fixed' the problem with playing the same teams within your region in the first round. That should have been taken care of before the fiasco last year where a bunch of the teams within the same region played each other. tssaa.org has a video of how last years brackets would have been drawn up this year with the new rules.

Looks to me that Lewis got a pretty good draw. There is a good chance to reach the quarters this year. GP will be a tough task if I am guessing.

Maybe, maybe not. Yes, they beat us soundly the first time. But this is an improved Waverly team. Camden coaches said it was the best team they had played all year besides Milan. And you should know about Milan. If Waverly can play like they did Thursday against Camden and take away the turnovers, it could be interesting. Not saying Waverly can beat them, but could be one of those......

Don't be fooled by Waverly's 5-5 record. Look at their strength of schedule. #6 in state. They don't play cream puffs. They played 4 teams in the top ten at one point in the season and 3 of the final top ten.

Camden, Lewis Co. & SC - Two are legit contenders - SC is good but not outstanding.
