I don't understand somthing how is a 7-3 C-Gap a #8 seed while a 5-5 West Greene is a 7 and also how is a 6-4 Loudon team a #3 seed with a G-P that is 9-1 a #4 just dosen't make since to me?

This years fromat, their is really no seeds. The TSSAA pair teams up based on their regional finish. For example, the region champ for Region 1 will play the 4th place team from region 2. The 2nd place team from Region 1 will play the 3rd place team from region 2. Region 1 3rd plays Region 2 Region 1 4th vs region 2 1st.

 

I believe this is correct. Next year teams will be seeded.

There is no 4th place team from region 2, 5 teams from region 1 so they should seed. Dosen't matter it is what it is but it sure would be nice to know the way it will be every year. Not just year to year TSSAA does some wierd things!!

i was wondering the same thing. the knoxville paper had the 2a pairings as incomplete. why does west green get to play happy and cumberland gap "get" to play alcoa. C.G. should have lost to west green on purpose to get out of the way of alcoa. i am not real sure this is set in stone yet. so let me know.
