Bearden ran over region 1 last year & will continue that trend tomorrow night 28-17

 

Admiralman just is hoping they wont have to face the DAWGS again in the play-offs

 

 

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant REGION 2. Last year's fantastic playoff run by Bearden included victories over Ooltewah, William Blount and Farragut (note: all Region 2 teams). As for continuing that trend, it's a different year and a much different team; I'm not holding my breath waiting for history to repeat itself.

 

Regarding an earlier post concerning one runner having a big game vs. Soddy Daisy. The example cited is not so much the back as the line he runs behind. Give Devrin Young Ooltewah's offensive line, and yeah, he'll run wild. Unfortunately, Bearden's offensive line -- a fine group -- is not on that level yet. Still, I think they should have some success running. But enough to keep up? I kinda doubt it.

Im gonna support my region not my hated rival. But next year when bearden is in the playoffs i will support them since we will be in the same district.

 

 

They support because of region 2 not area..........

 

Then stay on your own threads in your own region!! You guys are always whinning about the Owls bleeding onto your threads, so follow your own advice.

What are you basing this on? Did you see Bearden play or do you not like Bearden?

 

Sorry HB2021 I've been kind of busy lately... Anyway, yes I saw them play Farragut.. We all know how that turned out. Now I hope I am wrong and it is one of those games for the ages. I just saw Soddy Daisy going out and being the better team this year. Soddy had a really good passing game this year. Can you tell me how the secondary was most of the season? Is it full of veteran skilled players? or are they young?

I'd like to say something positive about Bearden...they're the best football field vandals in all the region(s)! Go Dawgs! If you can't beat 'em go tear up their stuff!!

 

 

The whole being vandles is a bunch of bs and by the way with this win it will be a good yr for the dawgs i think if Fine is healthy they should be alight and they will win by a field goal late this will be a great game

Soddy all the way! While you're losing in Knoxville who from Bearden's gonna be vandalizing SD's home field?

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
