Bulldog Fan #2
Kevin Ward. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> That could only come from a Camden fan. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Coach Ward was for sure a good signal caller for the Bulldogs. We have had many great ones over the years. Most have been called on to manage the game by Coach Tucker all they way to Coach Morris. Too many great athletes have come through here to put everything on the QB's. Some have been on teams that have won it all and some have been on teams that came up short but there have been plenty of good ones.
maddog75
Matt Simms 2 state titles in different classes don't lie!
wheels
Paul Poole and Johnny Tucker - each of which led their teams to a state championship. Both had a head full of sense, good leadership qualities, and decent throwing arms, even though neither was much of a runner.
Ctownfootball
Coach Kevin Ward has my vote boys and girls. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
buster
Matt Simms 2 state titles in different classes don't lie! With back-to-back state titles, I think Sims has to be the guy here. There's been lots of great ones. Ricky Fisher might have been the best pure quarterback. Paul Poole was probably the most accurate passer in Milan history. Kevin Ward was solid, but mostly handed the ball to Ernest Fields. And folks, Justin Coleman is quietly posting one of most efficient football resume's in MHS history. How he didn't get MVP in the '99 BC/BS game is still a mystery (3 TD passes in a 21-14 Milan win). Johnny Tucker close 2nd w/a 21-1-1 record and 1 state title. Honorable mention: Lydel Wells (3 yr. starter), George West, Justin Coleman (current QB)

JohnnieHaleStadium
Matt Sims. However, George West was a main part of one of the best offenses ever at Milan in 2003.
coachsanderson73
Matt Sims. However, George West was a main part of one of the best offenses ever at Milan in 2003. True George West was a part of one of the best offenses ever at Milan but when you have Rod Smith, a good running fullback, a good possession receiver, and 2 deep threats then its hard not to be considered. I still believe that Matt Sims is a whole lot better because of his leadership abilities leadin milan to back to back state titles in 2 different classifications. George West broke down in the 4th quarter in the semi-final game with 8 minutes left so in my book he's farther down the list.
