hvillefootball
Tough break. Didn't really affect anything at all, but still a admirable choice by the coach.
coachkirk
I see this totally different from the rest of you. Last time I checked it is the coaches responsibility to check the grades of the players he is sending in on the eligibility report to T$$AA. Coach Daniels obviously did not do this after the FINAL grades were posted at the END of the school year. One of the issues here is also we do not and do not need to know the player in question. He may have or may not have been one of the best on the team. His play may have affected the regions outcome. Ask Cleveland. Who wants to start wth Maryville in the opening round? oldtiger83
http://timesfreepress.com/news/2008/nov/24...daniels/?sports This was admirable but I think the writer (a Red Bank guy from a long time back) goes a little overboard here. It might have been a monumental decision had it taken place just before the playoffs began, especially during one of Red Bank's successful seasons, not after it was the season is over. We lost that game on our own, we earned that trip to Maryville with our poor performance.

THSVikings2004
Coach Tim Daniels is a classly guy. What is the purpose of the T$$AA collecting money for a fine? man, the T$$AA continues to be all about money. Good job Coach, you are a stand up guy. Good luck next year. They used to suspend a team when things like this happened.
oldtiger83
Winning Breeds jealousy is what it is looking like here. The guys at Red Bank are doing things by the book according to the article. Really Primetime "cheating for years" and all of your current players live in your zone. The staff at Red Bank is top notch in my book. Way to show the kids and others that would, and probably do let little things slip on by that there are those that do stand up and do things the right way. And for those that are jealous it looks like even when things are bad Red Bank still does it the right way.
