No doubt Micheal McKenry of Farragut High School in Knoxville is one of the best players in the state and the entire southeast.

Some raw talent in Laney and Hill at Westview. Left handed pitcher at DC. Anyone at USJ. Centerfielder at Chester Co. Henry Co. always has somebody. I just don't know the names, only places. Sorry if I am not any help.

all these messages that i have read under this tread have only talked about one player from one school. from what i know and what i have seen lavergne high has an entire senior class that scouts should jump all over. there seniors that will be leaving after this year are all rare talent from all parts of the field.

One kid that I don't think has got enough attention is Jordon Brooks from Portland. More known for football instead of baseball but is still a great player. Is being strongly recruited by small colleges to play football but I hope to see him play baseball. Had to miss most of the summer due to playing the 2002 high school season with a hernia. Has started since his freshman year at 2nd but will mostly likely have to move due to loss of several position players. Can play anywhere up the middle and is a great lead-off hitter. One of the highlights of the 3A state tournament in 2002 was when he stole home against Lexington in the state semi's. We just don't see that very often. One of the toughest and most competitive kids I have ever seen or coached against in football or baseball.

nobody seems to mention players in the chattanooga area except the chatt. players. lets talk about the kids from marion and grundy. marion has a few studs by the name of bart looney(pitcher) and brent layne(an awesome hitter). both of these kids are great baseball players. grundy represents themselves well with russell nixon(a fine hitter and shortstop) toby woodlee(flame thrower) kyle brewer(catcher) and a youngster named josh sitz who can do it all.

Rochell Jones from East High is a great prospect for div-1 baseball.

You've got to be kidding... On a team like beach those three aren't even going to get out of districts! Keep dreamin' and stop building up your team to be something it will never be!

of all the players i have scouted in my 32 years with the san diego padres organization i have never seen a player with the skils that tyler goforth of boyd buchanan high school in chattanooga possess....he has raw power to all fields had a homerun measured at 593 feet in 27 degree weather...im not kidding folks he is the real deal...if he is not picked #1 overall in upcoming draft by the brewers who own the first pick. He is the greatest high school player i have ever seen .....

Justin Sauceman at Alcoa is in my opinion one of the best in the state last year he batted .515 had 23 hrs and his fastball was clocked at about 88 mph. Another great player is McHenry from Farragut.
