Congrats to Hillsboro

Congrats to my Burros and their great staff and you Maryville fans arwe some good ones. very classy and i'd take 74-1 anyday.

 

 

And Congrats to you guys too , It's a shame that Bldrunner Is trying to take the focus away from Hillsboro , where It should be , instead of mocking someone who just lost their mother .

 

hhsfootballfan22 , I put you guys and Melrose in the same category , Tremendous Teams with tremendous Class , and world Class athletes . It really has been an Honor playing you guys , both Melrose and Hillsboro has pushed Maryville to be a better team . We knew each year that we were going to have our hands full with either one of your teams . I think Hillsboro Is going to be dangerous now for years and years to come . Your coach Is a Class act who really knows how to coach . I saw a well prepared team Yesterday , and I saw a team that had Schemed Maryville very well . Coach Quarles Is usually head and shoulders above the coaches on the other side , but I saw a team Yesterday that fooled our coaches with their safety blitzes at just the right time , and plays that were set up beautifully . The one play where Gordon went in Motion and ended up blocking on the receiver screen to # 8 , and then on the very next play showing the exact same formation and look , only to hit Gordon down field .... well that was a thing of beauty , and looked exactly like something Coach Quarles would have done . Some of our guys made mistakes that they don't usually make , but that was a credit to the pressure Defense and speed that Hillsboro showed on Defense .

 

I will always be a Hillsboro fan , they have been a tremendous Rival to Maryville this Past decade . You guys show the same things that I'm so proud of Maryville always showing , Class , determination , Pride and Respect .

 

If there's one thing I can say about Hillsboro that may not be the greatest , and this Is not meant to be disrespectful in any way , but It surprises me that Hillsboro doesn't have more fans there at the games than they do . I was a little disappointed at the turnout at the first 2 playoff games for Maryville , but the last few weeks Maryville fans showed up in force . Hillsboro fans and community need to embrace this team and show up in huge Masses to support them . The Hillsboro fans that were there were Awesome , I just thought they should of had even more numbers than they did . This Hillsboro team definitely deserves it !

I was shocked to hear Maryville lost. This program has now been brought back to 2004 when we started our streak. I guess another will start now. There has been a start of a pattern too... win 3 state championships, lost one, win 4, lose one... will five be next?

Let me help you keep the focus on Hillsboro, Thier D was ouststanding I think it was Bobby Bowden that said that you have either got speed or you are chasing it. That was the case last night.

 

Hillsboro you have earned the respect you derserve.

I stand by my ranking 1. Hillsboro 2. Henry co. .3 Maryville

I believe Maryville would beat Hillsboro 7 times out of 10. Without those 4 or 5 turnovers the game would've been different. Also Maryville would beat Henry County, badly. They are great against the run and thats all HC had. If HC beat Hillsboro, the streak would still be active not a doubt in my mind.

A simple reply that contained some disparaging remarks about mobile homes and garbage I believe...and I requested that it be deleted as it was offensive.
