Whitwell vs. South Pitt

You can tell it's basketball season. I spend the entire year saving up time so I can take off early every Friday to watch football and now I have to work late on Friday's again. I do have enough time to take off on 2 other Friday nights though, since SP got put out of the playoffs 2 rounds before the end. From the way this thread sounds I don't think I will use any of my hours to come to this one though. LOL Goodluck, but it sounds like Phillips & Company will not have much trouble with Thacker & Company.

I have given this game some thought and I think there is only one thing that is certain to come from this game. Phillips and Company will show Thacker & Company, who their Ambassador is. Sorry Whitwell, but Thacker takes a kneel to Phillips and Company in this one.

I agree and think Malcolm Jones will be the difference. Too much talent for the Whitwell team. Run and Gun all night. Cya there.

this game will be a blowout between these two teams...heck it would be a blowout if it was a one on one game between the coaches(not in whitwells favor either)

Dad burnit, Old Pirate needs to travel with a different bunch some. Good thing OP visited this thread, didn't know the gym was being dedicated tonight. OP has to go and see this place up close and experience the atmosphere after the SP folks have suffered so long. OP says them there Whutwell boys are in for a long night. OP is anxious to see that hall of fame area. Got-ta get.

Old Pirate says the gym & atmosphere was great. Them SP boys don't have it together and they'll have to really step their play up to be compeitive against Good teams.

I am assuming that SP won the game? What was the score? SP should have a decent team this season.

SP won 83-63. The score was 13-12 after a quarter, 28-22 at the half. SP won the third quarter 29-17 to break it open. Fennell had 26 points, Jones 23 for SP with 5 threes, Tucker 29 for Whitwell (TFP stats)
