TopDawg83
The Bulldogs begin a LONG road schedule away from the Dawg House (next game Jan. 16, 2009 vs RBS)! How does everyone think they will do at their first stop in Lebanon. The Commanders are always scrappy and usually play their best against CCHS. Predictions? /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

We stumbled against Eagleville but without one of our top scorers, Lee Maasen. He makes a difference with his scoring as well as his defense. He missed the first two games due to a lingering football injury but looks healthy now. Should be a good game and I know our team is looking forward to playing if the weather permits. I've heard Clay Co is the team to beat in District 7 as well as Region 4. Hopefully we will see you tonight in PossumTown. Drive careful! TopDawg83
Bulldogs team speed and Athleticism too much for Commanders size. Looks like Clay County will be the team to beat in the Region this year. Early Prediction: Clay County vs Clarkrange in finals! Great job by Caleb Lynn starting in place of Brown tonite. Play like that every time you are on the floor and you will make us even harder to beat come tourney time! Dersham still needs to learn to move his feet and play good position defense instead of trying to block every shot that he can! J. Adams and B. Korth are good replacements off the bench. Joe is starting to be a real threat from the outside. Nobody in the Region can stop Shawn Garrett this year. Early leader for Double MVP! Dawgs are really fun to watch! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
BigDaddy50
Both Clay Co teams are real good and play well together BUT PLEASE leave some of the mamas at home. THose 2-3 yelling on everytime we touched the ball that we walked and everytime yall had the ball it was a foul. They take away from the game. Got to be the worse FANS I;ve ever been around. Remember last year 2 of them were escorted out of the gym for hollering at the refs. AND THE LOUDEST ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESCOTED OUT LAST NIGHT....SHE SHOULD HAVE WORE HER REF SHIRT LIKE LAST YEAR..............
TopDawg83
Shawn Garrett's momma and Coach Edward's wife..They REALLY get into the game! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
VOLSguy
Congrats to Clay County. I think our Friendship boys certainly played them a good ball game. With Boyd getting in foul trouble early, certainly didn't help. Oh, and the mamas were actually quite entertaining. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

Back to the game. The press killed FCS. I think we had about 20 turnovers. The Garrett kid playing out front on defense was the key. He is a good player, very athletic and snart with the ball. The two guards ( I think it was Dale and Knight) can handle the ball and shoot the ball. The Adams kid off the bench is pretty good too. They will win their District......we have some work to do. We have to start hitting from outside to get our big boys scoring. Our first 4 fould called were called CHARGES. I thought Boyd did charge the first time but the next one they called on him along with the two they called on Sorrells (#21) were just ridculous. They also called one on Clay Co where our guy was still moving..... Oh well maybe we will get better by the next time we play......
northface
a well played game by clay county...we should have won by at least 15, but messed around and let the commanders come back. caleb lynn did have a breakout game....he was on fire considering this was his first time starting. Shawn garrett is too much for anyone in the region to keep up with, when he gets a fast break just put two on the board. Adams also had a good game, and I agree he is becoming more of a threat from the perimeter. clay county's defense was pretty tough to deal with. Was glad to see the bench step up and help in the absence of scott brown. we are really a well-rounded team this year...knight had a fantastic game two games ago with 16 points and dale and edwards are always a threat. and about the mamma comment earlier....we love our mammas...and yeah they get crazy...and sometimes a little embarrassing, but at least they are there supporting their children and clay county sports. you guys are just jealous because our fans are louder than your fans
