No way. He is a solid high school player, but not SEC caliber.

yes basketball. i have heard that he has recieved letters from tennessee, ole miss and auburn. i heard he is very much improved this year. just things i have heard

I'm sure kelten has improved, but come on......if players like nathan thomas, josh helton, and various others from even the wilson county area are only good enough to go NAIA, i highly doubt kelten can do much better....may be a good player but be serious..........anyone can say they got letters from someone

I have a box somewhere of all the letters I got in high school, including four SEC schools. The basic form letter. Until you are invited by the staff to take a visit, they have no idea who you are. Seriously.

thanks big chief.......im sure kelten has improved over the years, but a less than average size kid with average athleticism doesnt usually fit in the SEC....i say usually because there have been some, but most of those guys are specialists.....ive seen kelten play and he is well rounded but not SEC calibur.....big chief.....been working at the car wash at all lately? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

well i must admit, kelten has gotten a quit bigger over the off season. but i didnt think the sec schools were true either just had to make sure. have heard that they have sent him tickets to however. by the way i know that nathan thomas was offered by western kentucky and middle tennessee state university so naia isnt all.

im not trying to bash the naia by any means....there is a lot of good talent there.....i just dont think kelten fits in with the SEC guys...............and bigchief, i still have never seen a kid pick up basketballs faster in my life!

There are a lot of good players in the NAIA. Many times it is due to being a non-qualifier for the NCAA coming out of high school. Other times it is a question of size (too slow to guard perimeter, not physical enough for the paint etc.) There are others who have simply worn out their welcome at a bigger school and nobody else wants to deal with them. Some guys would just rather be a big fish in a little pond.

ten times out of ten the ball @@@@ being knocked over was well deserved though!!

 

I just think Kelten would have trouble guarding some of the guards in the SEC, and being able to keep up with the frantic pace of play. Like i said earlier, im sure he has improved, but maybe not quite that much
