But from a playoff perspective, there's no change. The old AA schools will be playing in the playoffs with schools of like size. The AAA schools in their district won't be in the same playoff division. I like it because it makes the natural rivals the same in all sports rather than football being different that basketball or baseball.

Is that right? Wow......not very good numbers, I figured they would have at least 45-50. Do you know how many ECHS has out? Wonder why such a drop off. Maybe when spring comes around some of the boys will decide to go out, they sure could use the numbers to go up.

 

Did ECHS pull that many under classmen away?

i havent heard how many kids east has. and for hickman county the numbers may go up because i dont think their middle schooler have started working out w/ them yet

Just was wondering how things are looking in Hickman. The team hitting it hard in the off season? When do they have a scimmage and with who?

Next year's freshmen can't participate until school starts in August. Spring ball will be limited to next years sophomores, juniors and seniors that aren't in track or baseball.

It appears as if this system is not very good for the incoming 9th graders. Why aren't they allowed to participate until school starts and why can't they participate in Spring practice? Is this a county rule or just the Principal's rule?

This is a TSSAA rule. If the students are not in the building, they can't participate in spring practice.

Are you saying that Hickman Co. HS and East Hickman HS are 10-12 grade buildings? The 9th graders are in another school?
