The 4 Southers all deserved the honors that they got.Ashlon Adams also deserved the honors.But he made it by the passes that he caught from DBS quarterback,if i am not mistaken was player of the year in the Big East.Yes there is

a lot of politics in these polls,but it starts with the coaches.W. Bateman should have been lineman of the year in my opinion.

 

 

 

I don't know how it could ever be 100% correct with so many good players around the state.If I were picking an all DB team however,Will Bateman would be my first pick on defense with Zack and Sammy coming next.On offense,I thought Adams was the most dangerous weapon that we had,with Jamie and Chris right up there next.It's harder for me to pick an offensive lineman,because you just about have to watch film and see who got the job done.

Good job to all the guys that made All State. It surprise me that Farragut did not get any guys off the defense to make this team. They pretty much carried Farragut through the playoffs and the last six games of the year. I thought there was a couple of guys that should have made it.
