Way to step up! I'm would have loved to see the faces on the Clarksville folks. I'm sure they will be waiting for a rematch next year.

 

Congrats to the Commandos Seniors. I've very proud to have ahd the honor to watch you young men over the past 3 years.

 

Be leaders and lead your team to another Reg Championship.

 

You know what has happened the last 2 years.

 

Please think of the team 1st and don't let down Coach, your parents or your community.

 

If all of you reach your potential you could be the best team this Region has ever sent to State.

 

Watch out for the MTJ Bears they want your crown!

Last year at State when the Commandos faced Clksville. I told their parents that a healthy H'ville would have given them a good match and IMHO might have won.

Just glad that the region tournament is later this season! Congrats to HHS, you guys earned a great victory

over CHS. I hope that MJ will be ready and @ full strength when we wrestle HHS @ regionals.

Yep, it's about timing sometimes. For the last 2 years HHS went to traditional State without 2 of their top wrestlers because of injuries or stupidity. If this group can make it to Choo-Choo town with all their top grapplers they could finish in the top 10.

Good Luck Commandos and Reg 8 this is your last year to prove you grapplers can make some noise as Reg 8 so don;t leave anything on the mat.

Make it a memory to last forever and not a "What good have been"!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
