I think that most of the BA wrestlers are going to dodge the competition when it comes to the upcoming match, I am sorry, but as of right now I feel that it is not BA's wrestlers that dodge the competition (such as last year w/ Jubari Tuani) its there coach Mr. Rodney Cash that will manipulate BA's lineup to protect BA's seeds. However since Mr. Marchetti has split the #1 seed w/ Justin Cash, Mr. Cash can not assume Justin will have the #1 seed. So will Rodney Cash let his son wrestle against Mr. Marchetti, my simple answer is a big maybe. If patrick Marchetti beats Justin Cash in the next match, Justin will run because he wants the second title.

In reference to the quote above in bold you are correct that Coach Cash can not assume Justin Cash will have the #1 seed. He knows it for a fact! If you take the time to look at the seeding criteria, if head-to-head matches between two wrestlers is split then the wrestler with the most recent win will be seeded higher. This does mean that Cash currently has the #1 seed. However, I am not stating what is likely to happen in this dual meet, just correcting the statement above concerning state seeding.

Run! I didn't know that Justin Cash ran track during wrestling season. The notion that Justin Cash would run is as ridiculous as the notion that Patrick Marchetti would run. Neither of these young men seem to be making any effort to avoid one another, having already met twice this season.

If for some reason we don't see a third match-up between Cash and Marchetti it simply want matter in terms of the seeding at the State. Whether Cash is seeded first and Marchetti is seeded second they'll both make it into the finals at 152. There's no advantage either way! Perhaps you should re-think your post and give credit where credit is due to each of these young men for being two of the states best wrestlers!

i dont think it matters where these two wrestlers are seeded they will both make it to the state finals but i am looking foward to seeing if mr. marchetti and mr. cash meet on tuesday

Don't know how the weights will go, but it looks like BA will be full strength in terms of injury, and I am told Ryan will be as well . I agree with you, In Hoc, Justin works hard as do all of the wrestlers, and when the gladiators come out of the gate, they are to be honored and respected for their hard work and acomplishments. We are merely spectators, happily with a medium that is available for expressing our thoughts. Plenty of rasslin' to be done, and one could trust that each wrestler will do what is best for each wrestler(and his team).

    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
