Excuse me for issuing my well thought opinion. I do not always pick Lewis County to lose. I just got a source close to the situation over in Mt. Pleasant by the name of Chuck. And Chuck told me that the Tigers are wild with enthusiasm for this game. Plus the fact that Lewis will be overlooking the Tigers to get ready for their big Harpeth game means I smell an upset brewing. I promise that I will pick Lewis to win a game soon. I think I pecked them to beat Moore County, didn't I?

 

As for the poll, everyone in the state knows Fairview is better than Lewis so why shouldn't they be rated higher?

I was simply making a comparison to your popular catch phrase, Goldenboy has spoken by initializing a veiled comparison with my rather lackluster attempt at a lackadaisical satirical parody which when viewed in the full context, came off as a lame display of irreverant and furtive symbolism. My apologies for any transgressions, none of which were meant in vicious or lacivicous veins.

No matter how smart I try to make myself look? Well I never! Are you implying that I was trying to disguise the use of rather robust words as a way of convincing others that my intelligence quotient is something different than it seems?

 

Nay I cry with a loud and proud voice of reason. Your incessant pandering to Lewis County is somewhat akin to the same accusation you hurl towards me. You claim that based solely on my decision to list Fairview ahead of your beloved in my award winning poll, I lose all respectability within the assembled masses? And what line of reasoning would you base that upon?

 

How about this? Let's look at each team and the final game that they played during the 2001 season. Ah, strangely enough, each squad saw McKenzie as the team that eliminated them from the playoffs. Fairview losing in a true test of athletic endeavor by 14 points while Lewis County was whaylayed by 28! So using the accepted assumption that each team is returning around the approximate same number of players, I will also assume that Fairview is 14 points better than Lewis County and by virtue of such logic, I shall rate them higher than the Painters in my award winning poll.

Your point is biting and a bit too laconic. Granted, teams like Lewis and Harpeth have fared none to well when representing the region but this is a new year with a new head cheese, molded in the form of a Yellowjacket. Beware to Milam, Martin Westfield, Humblebolt, Huntington and Union City.. The relative ease of your travail has ended as a new kid has arrived on the block!

I would have to say most of your picks are just insane but I do get a good laugh out of your post.So do you actually believe Mt. Plesant will even score,I don't. And this source "Chuck", it dosen't happen to be the legendary football player Chuck Drane from Mt. Pleasant does it? Anyway don't look for this game tomorrow to be close at all.
