imasoftballer
How about this? Let's look at each team and the final game that they played during the 2001 season. Ah, strangely enough, each squad saw McKenzie as the team that eliminated them from the playoffs. Fairview losing in a true test of athletic endeavor by 14 points while Lewis County was whaylayed by 28! So using the accepted assumption that each team is returning around the approximate same number of players, I will also assume that Fairview is 14 points better than Lewis County and by virtue of such logic, I shall rate them higher than the Painters in my award winning poll. Why was this point spread not brought up? What was the score in that game anyway?
onside
Meanjean, didn't Fairview play McKenzie in a rainstorm? The conditions kept McKenzie from opening up there offense and utilizing their incredible speed which both Loretto and Lewis Co. saw. I think they were completely different kinds of games. meanjean
Ok, I talked with Chuck from Mt. Pleasant tonight and he give me some inside scoop. I also talked with my source in Lewis County, a guy named Magoo and he give me some pretinent information. With this all throwed in, I am going to make Lewis a winner by the score of 8-7. So for those of you who say I never pick the Painters, there you go!

He has his scout teams fullback wearing number 4(Ellis Dailys #), and his gaurd wearing number 55(Jimbo Dotsons #). They have had to change their fullback every day because they keep on hurting him. They said on offense they are run up the middle over Ellis and Jimbo (Dumbo as they have nicknamed him this week). The word is the panthers had better watch out. Guest shea04
Posted by meanjean:No matter how smart I try to make myself look? Well I never! Are you implying that I was trying to disguise the use of rather robust words as a way of convincing others that my intelligence quotient is something different than it seems? Nay I cry with a loud and proud voice of reason. Your incessant pandering to Lewis County is somewhat akin to the same accusation you hurl towards me. You claim that based solely on my decision to list Fairview ahead of your beloved in my award winning poll, I lose all respectability within the assembled masses? And what line of reasoning would you base that upon? How about this? Let's look at each team and the final game that they played during the 2001 season. Have a lovely day old chum. Thanks, and I am. I don't say that Lewis Co. should be listed because I am from Lewis Co. I'm not, I just watch the teams in our region closely and honestly believe they are a good team. I've seen them play and I know that they give it all they have. Also, Loretto is a good team. They just have a tough schedule this season. To add another, Hickman should be tremendously better than the last few years. I think that at the end of this season the outcomes are going to be extremely unexpected. And meanjean, I have no prob. with you just don't always agree with what you have to say, which in return I'm sure you feel the same of me. But that's life, stuff happens. I do think you have had many good posts and know what you are talking about, in some situations. Have a good day.
meanjean
Thanks you shea04, that's a very pleasant comment from you and I appreciate the civility you have displayed and wish you well. I will keep a closer eye on the teams you have mentioned and will also talk with my source in Hickman County about the Bulldogs. He is a guy named Chessor and he should be able to give me some key information.
