Cloudland has a smaller lineup, but they are very athletic, but they do depend more on transition baskets. If the dogs can make them play half court, then they win the game. If it turns into a marathon, then Cloudland might win the race. Good luck to both teams and we have indeed solidified ourselves as the dominating sports schools in the county. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

This is going to be a really entertaining game. It??™s a really good rivalry. I know most of us Hampton fans are always rooting for the Landers when we are not playing them and I think that goes both ways. Both schools and coaching staffs respect each other a lot. The Dawgs have a big advantage in size, hopefully we will be able to use that to our advantage and take this one out of what could turn into three or four meetings between these two teams this year. I agree with lord Vader, this would be a huge win for us. Going to Roan Mountain is going to be a tough task so we need this key home win early to get rolling in the conference.

GO BULLDOGS!!!!!

I think the main focus for Hampton should to some how stop or at least slow down the morgan kid. He has a deadly 3 point shot and is wonderful in transistion, with that being said do you think the Bulldogs will change the D from 1-3-1 to something else, or is there a need to change. How is the Potter kid doing for the Landers since he's been back?

I agree with everyone on winning in Roan Mtn. Very HARD to do in any sport.

Go Bulldogs!!!

Potter has been killin it. I think he had 15 against Univeristy High and 18 against Providence. I'm not sure what he had against Unaka. He's averaging about 16 or 17 a game and Morgan is probably gettin around 25 a game in the past few. Clark has also been gettin about 10-12 a game here lately. The Landers are a scoring machine...

Ive been able to see both teams play at least twice and I agree with what you said. If Hampton can keep CLoudland from running for most of the night then they will probably win. If Cloudland is able to make turnovers and get easy baskets then they better their chances. I think both teams will have spurts where they impose their wil on the other. When the game is over I think Hampton will be on top because of the game being at their place.

    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
