We have some huge games on Friday- It will break things up a little.

 

McEwen @ White House Hertitage- I say McEwen wins by 10 on the road. Will be a good game. 52-42

Houston County @ East Robertson- I say Houston wins on the road. 40-35

Nashville Christian @ Jo Byrns- I say Jo Byrns wins at home- 38-36 Close game!!!

 

Lets get these big games heated up!!! These are huge games for everyone for the distrist standings. Things are starting to close up. Good Luck to all teams.

You bet it will..... the cream is going to rise to the top in the next few weeks. So to speak. Ha ha.

 

I dont see McEwen winning two in a row over Heritage. I think the Lady Patriots win this home game and they start to crank it up for the post season !!

 

Houston Co...at 5-3 in the district is hanging in there and a win over East Robertson could help them in seeding for the district tourney.

 

Nashville Christian is obviously a up or down team just look at the scores in the past games...if they are up they will smoke Jo Byrns. But if they are down well you can guess the outcome. After watching them play last night....they can win this one and then make a run to move up in the district standings if they win out. Hey ya never know.

I say WHH BY about 5, East by 5, and NCS by 10. I was there last night as well and wow, what a performance from Hulan with 14 at the half and 24 at the end of the game. The game was fairly close except for the third quarter when WHH pulled away. It was an impressive game for both teams, even though WHH pulled out the win.

I guess time will tell. some very good matchups. I wish that I could go see all of the games played. They should just move it to one site on friday night. HA

 

 

 

well, if you weren't at the east robertson/houston county game, you didn't miss a thing. we played horribly. we lost by almost 20. it was rather embarassing if you ask me. we're really going to have to step it up to have a chance in the tournaments..

Well you may have not missed anything from Houston but East was playing real good ball that night. It was one of their best games. They are really coming together as a team.

I will admit East is playing good ball right now....they have an interesting matchup tonight in Harpeth....they are tied for first place in their District which is 11 AA. And looks like they are a tough team....they beat Fairview by 20 points, Fairview beat McEwen by 5 just the other night. Might be a long night. Good luck.

 

I think it is good to play UP so to speak it will make you better in the end. WHHeritage and East both have two tough non-district games at the end of the season in Community and Cornersville and East plays Cascade and Culleoka the last two, well not so tough in Culleoka. But hopefully that will be a tune up for the post season.

 

McEwen plays at Houston Co tonight.

 

Heritage plays at home against USN.

 

NCS has Clarksville ACA.

 

Jo Byrns has a break .

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated

      Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
