jimlemon
Why wasn't lebanon good last year? They had the same player PLUS other really good seniors as in franchier farrell and harrell was a very effective relief man. Why all the sudden so good bombs? Two great questions and a good observation sandwiched in between. Could it be a question to the amount of milk supplied to this group, and the time that the milk has been given? A 1 run loss to NorthEast; bases loaded 1 out in the seventh, and 2 straight K's. A 2 run loss to Siegel; 8 men left on base. A 1 run loss to Riverdale; no runs scored. A 2 run loss to Oakland; 3 straight errors in the 6th. A 1 run loss to Blackman; a catchable flyball left hanging in the outfield. A 1 run loss to Warren County; error in the seventh let both the runs that tied and won the game cross the plate. The question posed is relevant. It is not a question of if they will be better, but WHY......
DoWorkSon
Ravenwood just beat Lipscomb starting a freshman, 3 sophmores, 2 juniors and 3 seniors. Goodpasture beat Beech yesterday 8-5.

turnin two
Ravenwood just beat Lipscomb starting a freshman, 3 sophmores, 2 juniors and 3 seniors. Ravenwood won the game and deserves alot of credit for hanging in there down 7-1 in the 4th inning. I was impressed with their ability to swing the bat. In all fairest however, Ravenwood scored practically all of their runs off two soph pitchers throwing in their first varsity game. Coach Smith left 3 senior pitchers(who all won games for Lipscomb last year in the state tournament) for their two district games today and tomorrow. Lebanon will never be as good as their talent as long as their current coach is still there. Hes terrible!!

Hes terrible!! to answer the question. lebanon may have lost some close game, but with an extra year of development and maturity those game could be turned around with ease. Trollinger, one of those sophs, is a lefty that we'll hear much about the next couple of years. Can hit, too, with a dinger in the previous game. Hes terrible!! wow, shows how much YOU know about lebanon baseball. the coach they have right now does a fine job coaching them. and they also added an excellent pitching coach this year that has done wonders to their pitching staff. don't stick your nose in where you have no idea what you were talking about. lebanon should do very well this year.
