Rockwood won a hard fought contest tonight. The score was 7-0 with 5 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. I think Midway surprised Rockwood by hanging in there. The tigers committed too many mental mistakes. Dropped passes, and stupid penalties just about cost us the game. We could have been beat if Midway had been able to create any offense. If Rockwood hopes to be a region contender they are going to have to focus and quit making mistakes. A win is a win, but they did not look like the experienced ball team they should.

I had that Rockwood dropped five passes and two would have been TDs. They did score on one of the drives, but that stuff will kill you. They also had 10 penalties that really hurt. Preston had two big runs and Critter's INT. return was negated. Midway also had seven penalties and long yardage situations takes Harman out of the equation, that cannot hapen for the Greenwaves to be successful. Both teams can have a good year, but they have to cut down on mistakes.

I agree. Midway can do good in their region, but they need to find another ball carrier to help Harmon out. They were too predictable. i'm afraid they will be in trouble when they run into a passing team because they left Critter open all night.
