Hooper cant drop to 125?

this is ######## because i weighed in at 131 at state duals so i cant drop 4 pounds in a week thats stupid i know kids out there who drop 12 13 pounds in a weeks time so four pounds in a week give it a break and thats why there not letting me go 25 wow thats amazing

 

jeremy either he weighed in at like 135 and there not letting him drop to 132 good job dropping 3 pounds in a week isnt that hard

Did you know the rules before weighing in at the duals?

 

I know it stinks, but to me you should have known what you can weigh at the duals to still make your weight at the individuals.

Not disagreeing that it stinks. But the rules are there upfront, and it's your responsiblilty to know them. Look, I know you (my son has wrestled you a couple times in middle school) and I know you are a good kid, but the fact is you learned a very tough lesson.

 

Best thing to do now is to focus on what is in front of you, and do the best you can with what you have. If you ask me, you will be fine at 130 as well. You are talented enough, so the 5 lbs should hurt you too much.

Let's not jump to conclusions before you have any facts.

 

This was the coaches fault, not the kids. A mistake was made and the team will deal with it as best they can and impact as few wrestlers as possible.
