Correct me here if I'm wrong, but wasn't the coin flip ONLY for seeding purposes. I thought LA and Upperman were Co Champs before, during, and after the flip. Winning the flip doesn't mean LA is the champion. And yes I think LA has won outright or shared the District crown for 4 years in a row. If winning the flip made LA sole champs then double congratulations for being lucky enough to win the flip. Undoubtedly, it will be LA-Upperman in the district title game. And as stated in another thread, I hope the Cats pull it off because John Jenkins puts a little fear in me. Assuming of course SC wins their District which I'm sure they will.

District 6AAA proves that anything is possible. Upsets happen. No one (LA, Upperman, nor SC) should start counting chickens yet.

Yes your correct. I just meant that this is the 4th year in a row that LA has finshed on top of district 7AA. (Tied or alone) That is pretty impressive.

dark horse of this tourny...... Cannon co. they have the talent to compete with the top teams not saying they will win but they have the talent to surprise some people. their first game friday will be good wanting revenge on dekalb from last game

Sorry to burst your bubble bigpun, but there are no darkhorses in this tourney. It will be LA-Upperman in the finals. Cannon lost to Upperman/LA by a total of 121 points in 4 games. I'm sincerely doubting they have much of a chance to be a darkhorse.

yes i know that is probally true but if it means anything elimnate the 17 point advantage in the first game vs LA cannon would have won.. but all signs lead to another very good matchup between LA and the U.. if that happens i would go with the U!!

Not surprising you'd hope LA loses. Just thinking out loud, but I don't think anyone outside of LA fans, especially in district play, has ever wanted LA to win. I'm sure someone out there has, but it sure seems like everyone hates them. If you are being hated, that means you have done something that makes other people envy you. Just another reason for LA to stay hungry.
