It should be 7 Central. Boys' games are Tuesday. I wish they could just play in Whitwell or Jasper instead of going all the way to Howard. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> That would be good for both teams, but some folks over here in Chatt. are happy its here. Have a safe trip. I noticed that about the scoreboard as well. Surely they will get the kinks out.

Grundy Co. showed up and played the game of the season Saturday night. The team is to be commended, both players and coaches, for a great effort and a huge win. The coaching staff came with a good game play and the right personnel in mind to get the job done. The players hustled and came up with every loose ball and dominated the boards. The guards did a great job handling the full court pressure. Chattanooga Christian tried both man and zone pressure but to no avail. Sequatchie will have a tough time with Grundy??™s post players. Also, Grundy??™s patience and outstanding guard play may prove Sequatchie Co.??™s full court press ineffective. Should be a great championship game!

Are the times listed on the scoreboard Eastern? Are we talking 5:30 and 7 Central time? Since I have no interest in the boys games this season I'm glad they've split it up on two nights. I don't have to watch 2 games I don't care about to get to the awards and such.

Anybody know where the district and region are supposed to be next year?

I am 99 percent sure it's 7 Central.

Since the district will be 7-AA next year, I'm guessing the local teams will travel west to 8-AA for the region (other than 1 and 2 hosting the first round). This year 6-AA is going east for the region.

The district next year should be at Grundy, Bledsoe or Sequatchie, since this year it was in Chattanooga and helped the remaining teams next year, Notre Dame and Chattanooga Christian, as far as travel.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
