JJ is the best player in this part of the state. She is the best player from Shelby County since Nikki McCray.

It is an honor for JJ (or any player) to be mentioned in the same sentence as the Collierville, Tennessee, Olympic, WNBA great Nikki McCray. She was absolutely awesome on all levels of her career. Nikki has acted as a mentor for JJ over the past three years and actually helped to relieve a lot of stress from JJ during the recruiting process. Nikki was a wonderful player and is equally a wonderful person...... I watched her get her jersey retired at C??™ville and she took the time to talk and engage all of the fans.

 

Award or no award: JJ has been blessed to play with and against some great players from Shelby County and across the state??¦.. in addition she has had the opportunity to meet wonderful parents and high school coaches??¦.
